amanda + adam {married}

We have been wanting to post this wedding for a really really long time.  This beautiful bride and her Mom came into the shop one evening and it just felt like we had been friends forever! We could say a million things about Amanda and Adams wedding {because to sum it up in one work it was Breathtaking!} but I'll let the bride tell you herself in a few more words than that. ;)

However, we will say Congratulations Amanda and Adam!  We wish you a lifetime of Love, Laughter, Happiness, and Adventure!

Xoxoxo,  The Couture Closet Gals!

From the Bride:

Adam and I got engaged on his birthday (10/21/2013) in Steam Boat Springs, Colorado while hiking up Fish Creek Falls. Adam had been carrying our ring in his pocket everyday on that vacation just waiting for the perfect moment. I was so shocked and elated when he dropped down to one knee mid-photo:

When planning our wedding everything just sort of fell into place with ease. I did not think it would be so simple though. So, when on my first dress-shopping day at the first store I had been too ever I found my dream dress I was shocked. The ladies at Couture Closet just clicked with me, but I think they just have that natural talent of reading people (that is why they are the best!). I had such a special experience there. These ladies make you feel like the only bride in the world when you are there and never make you feel pressured or rushed.

What I also loved about the wonderful women at Couture Closet was that they helped me find one of the most influential designers of my wedding. I had informed them that I had scheduled my dream photographers (Lang & Kate) and gotten super lucky in getting The Olmsted’s last Fall 2014 available date. Hearing my ideas and dress style they sent me to Jaclyn Journey.

I just loved everything about our wedding, but the flowers, our photos, and our experience were the three things that really mattered to us. With a family that is deep seeded in horticulture it was a lucky moment to find such a talented artist like Jaclyn Journey. It was also insanely lucky that all of our team happened to be close friends! Our Florist, Photographer, Invitation Designer, Calligrapher, and Videographer were all connected or friends in some way. This connectivity made our wedding day come together seamlessly and without fault. Adam and I loved knowing that we were able to just let go and allow these talented individuals execute our vision in their own way.

Nearly 2 years later Adam and I still talk about our wedding day and look back on that wonderful experience.  If we could relive it all over again we would, but we would not change a thing!  So, thank you to every single artist, merchant, and vendor that made our day special. Without you our vision of a simple, elegant, and eclectic wedding would have never happened.
